吴承文，男，生于 1960 年 3月，内蒙古包头市人，籍贯山东菏泽曹县，中共党员，山水画家，1994 年 7月，毕业于中国书画函授大学国画专业，研修清华大学美术学院，是全国书画艺术委员会顾问，中国通俗文艺研究会理事，人民艺术家，建党 100 周年最具实力派艺术家，高级美术师，中国书画名家研究会名誉主席，人民书画报理事会副主席，中国教育电视台水墨丹青会员，庆祝中国共产党成立 100 周年，百年百家获得者。
2008 年参加了内蒙古党委组织部支援四川汶川大地震救灾工作。从小喜欢书画，受父亲熏陶学习传统山水画，现为国家一级美术师，中国东方文化研究会社会艺术专业委员会，美术研究员。孔子奖章组织委员会艺术研究员，国智办文化艺术研究院特聘副院长。中国收藏推荐艺术名家组委会，中国互联网新闻中心，一带一路国际文化艺术促进会特授予“中国收藏推荐书画艺术名家”荣誉称号。
